My brother Spencer decided to make a last minute stop in KC for a quick visit on his way home to Cali after visiting my parents in DC. Got all that?
It was his first time visiting us here and the littles were MORE then a bit excited to have one of "the uncles" to play with for even a short while.
He was only here for less than 2 days but we packed in a lot to show him our town. Unfortunately, Jeff was working and couldn't join in on the fun.
The plaza, ward parkway, Spencer counted 12 fountains in just a short couple hours time.
Spencer treated us to a Royals game and even bought souvineers for the littles. It was a CROWDED game and the Royals lost, the first time we've EVER been to a losing game. The littles are HUGE Royals fans and the loss made Capri cry. But she dried her tears and declared that she still loved the Royals SO much and that they are the greatest team EVER. We had a great time, loved the new improved stadium and there were awesome fireworks after the game.
We got there early so we enjoyed a bit of space around us before the whole place filled up.
His last morning here, before we took him to the airport, we drove out to Legends JUST so Spencer could say he'd been to Kansas as well. He said he didn't think there was anything big in Missouri, let alone anything in Kansas. Ha ha Spence!

Only the first Royals loss you've been to? Sounds like you guys have really beaten the odds :) j/k
Had to pile on a little as a Cards fan. I know Karen would help console Capri if we were down there... she's a hometown team girl as well. Glad you had so much fun and looking forward to seeing you next week.
T.J.
your bor looks like a blue eyed aby!
glad you had fun. i always moan about going to a baseball game, but the kids love it!
we are leaving town for a while, so call us this week if you want to have a play day!
miss you...and BTW....
you are lookin HOT!
Every Royals game I went to was a loss. That's sweet about Capri.
The littles look very happy with their uncle. It's amazing how much love children have for their extended family members even when they don't see them very often. I guess it means we're doing a great job teaching them all of the WONDERFUL things about our extended families.
