Capri learned to skip them today.
I relearned it.
Rome's close.
Sable prefers splashing.
We've been working on this every time we're within view of a river, stream, creek or puddle for that matter.
We've thrown hundreds of rocks in search of a skip.
Today after MANY more unsuccessful attempts I picked up a very smooth, lovely, flat rock.
"This rock WILL skip" I said. "It's lucky."
Wouldn't you know, it did.
Then we were all on quests to find more lucky rocks.
Capri found one again, and again, and. . . again.
I got a 3 skipper.
"Find me a lucky rock, Mommy" said Rome "I need a lucky rock."
"Eh" said Sable.
"Papa will be so proud of me" said Capri.
She's right.
